Riau Governor HM Rusli Zainal, said the Main Stadium in Pekanbaru Riau feasible to hold the Asian Cup soccer match Age U-22. Pekanbaru Main Stadium was built for the event benefit the National Sports Week (PON) in Riau XVIII, September 2012.
"Certainly I do not know if the stadium Pekanbaru be filed as Asia Cup host or not. But if the physical, our stadium is very feasible for the international championship," he said.
"But it's certainly not just a sporting stadium is used. Also later next year (2013), there are Islamic Solidarity Games (ISG) was followed over 50 countries, will use the stadium as well," he said.
It was also expressed when accompanying the Minister of Religious Affairs Ali Suryadharma groundbreaking ceremony at the commencement of construction of dormitories in Riau Hajj Complex RI Air Force (Air Force) Pekanbaru yesterday.
Previously, Riau Main Stadium in PON XVII Pekanburu could also steal the Coordinating Minister for Economy, Hatta Rajasa. Hatta was declared, stadiums worth hundreds of billions of dollars it is one of the best stadiums in Indonesia to be proud of.
